2D SUBLIMATION
Some of the products in our iDesignyou range are printed with the aid of a 2D heat press. This technique allows for products such as phone / tablet cases, textiles to be printed with the design of your choice.
A photo, text or design is printed and then by means of a heat press and pressure this can then be transferred onto polyester coated materials.
How it works
The ink is first printed onto special sublimation paper, which is transferred using the 2D heat press. By heating the ink and product, pores are opened in the polyester coated material, which then allows the ink to fuse within. Once the ink and product is cooled, the pores close containing the ink. The end result is a wonderful product featuring your own creation!
